2011: Closed indefinitely due to dead tree fall. Medicine Bow NF, From Laramie, take WY 130 west 21.7 mi to WY 11. Turn left and go 10.5 mi to Lake Owen sign. Turn left onto Fox Creek Rd. and go 1.7 mi to another Lake Owen sign. Continue straight on FR 517 and go 2.5 mi to still another Lake Owen sign. Turn left onto FR 540 and go 2.8 mi., Laramie WY 82070,
