We purchased a new Coachman Mirada, Class A in 2005 because we thought that buying used would be buying someone else's problems. However, we started having issues with quality (or lack thereof) from our very first trip. We had squeaky doors, gail force wind from under the dash, broken window washers, rusty bumper, chipped counters, leaky windows just to name a few. It has taken us five years to correct those things which were not under warranty. We are sorry now that we didn't buy a higher quality used that someone else probably fixed all the problems. Someone will eventually buy ours completely fixed someday. As a footnote, I tried to contact the manufacturer of Coachmen to tell them about our issues, but they make themselves very difficult to find....that should be a red flag to potential customers.

all the battles over warranty and garages have taken the fun out of my travel trailer. Just want to be done with it and go back to a tent. If only companies took pride and supported their products

I think the quality went down with mass production. It was all about volume and sales, not quality in making a few units like they used to.
