I recently rented a car at National, Hobby Airport. They threatened to call Police on me because my Wife drove into the lot to just drop me off and leave. They make you walk at least 150 yards across the street at night to come get your car. Then when I brought the car back, I followed my wife in to the return line, so she could just get out and get in and us drive away. AGAIN I was approached and told I couldn't enter the lot and she would have to walk across the road 150 yards at night so I could pick her up. I'll NEVER rent from NATIONAL again. AVIS doesn't mind as long as you don't park your private vehicle and leave it unattended.
