Hotel Del Coronado Ghost Story

The Hotel Coronado, located just outside San Diego, has a ghostly tale of unrequited love. In 1892, Kate Morgan checked into Room 3502 to meet her estranged husband for the Thanksgiving holidays. He never arrived. A few days later, Kate's body was found on the hotel steps leading out to the ocean. Ever since that time, workers and guests have been puzzled by odd noises, spirited breezes, strange faces and the ghostly figure of a young lady wearing a black lace dress.

Room 3502 has since been described as a "classic haunting." Parapsychologists, using scientific methods, has found 37 abnormalities in one day.

Please note that the room number has changed over the years in the remodeling, it has also been known as 3312. You may hear of several different room numbers from different sources and wind up staying in the wrong room.
