		DORRINGTON HOTEL Dorrington Hotel Ghost Story 3431 Hwy 4, Dorrington, CA (209) 795-5800 The Dorrington Hotel was built by John and Rebecca Gardner in 1852. It was a stage coach stop on the Big Trees Carson Valley Road and served as a depot for stockmen. When a post office was established, Rebecca's maiden name was submitted and the town was called Dorrington ever since.
