Queen Anne Hotel Ghost Story
The Queen Anne Hotel opened in 1980 but it was built as a boarding school in 1890. It was originally known as "Miss Mary Lake's School for Young Ladies" operated by Mary Lake. It was only open a few years however, and closed around 1896. After that, it changed hands many times until 1980 when the Queen Anne Hotel took off.
The presence, which is throughout the hotel, is strongest on the fourth floor where Mary Lake spent most of her time. Room 410 was her office and is now the center of guests unusual experiences.
Experiences include cold spots and misty female figures. Mary Lake may even help you unpack, pick up pillows and keep you tucked in at night. This is one chilly ghost that may help keep you warm.
