La Fonda Hotel has been here since 1922 but an inn has been on the location going back to 1607 Court was held in the hotel, which included hangings in the lobby.
It was a Harvey House from 1926 to 1968 and still hosts guests and ghosts today. You may encounter Judge Slough in the hallways. Or the ghost of a salesman who plunged into the well after losing his company's money. The dining room is over this site today and guests report seeing a figure that walks to the center of the room and disappears into the floor.
Other reports include apparitions that walk the hallways and disappear.
