July 2013: This area is heavily populated by transients, and at any given time of day one will be approached by panhandlers. Many are rough looking and inebriated and easily angered if you look at them wrong. I live in the area and I only shop at this store during mid morning hours and even then with trepidation. The store itself is poorly managed and ill-kempt. The last time I was there a man came in with a dog (regular dog, chihuahua, not a service dog) and I saw this dog lift his leg and do his business on a refrigerator unit.
