Sep 2018: Often enough to be able to say its safe. It has uniformed off duty KCPD in patrol cars hired as private security. Its probably not the best area in the way of shop lifters but theres not an issue with personal safety in the parking lot. If anything its safer than the stores without the police sentry parked out front. I stay here and the one in Liberty/Kansas City on Church road as often as a month at a time.
