Flei

For Sourdough Campground and Cafe: Fine campground with a nice cafe. Owner was very friendly and meeting other campers at the pancake toss was fun. Sites we’re perfectly adequate, with good space between them and a lot of trees. Didn’t see any more “rustic” than most other campgrounds (and certainly less “rustic” than most National Park campgrounds are these days in the USA.

Kathy

For Sourdough Campground and Cafe: Nice stop on our way to Fairbanks from the lower 48. Cafe has great food and the people are super friendly. Showers were hot/free and the laundry was clean.

Alaskansonya

For Sourdough Campground and Cafe: We tried to stay here but it’s extremely rustic, in disrepair, tons of scrub trees, tons of mosquitos, and even worse, they only had 20 amp fuses in their power so we kept tripping the power off on an 84° day as we tried to use AC!! We tried 3 different spots with same issue! We had to leave and go to the Tok RV Village which was a much nicer park for almost the same price! Hopefully we get refunded our money but I doubt it! :(

AK Nomads

For Sourdough Campground and Cafe: I didn’t even stop to check in because the campground was to rustic and need of TLC even for a long time Alaskan.

CEG

For Sourdough Campground and Cafe: Average camp ground. Trees between sites. Needs updating. We stayed in a 35 ft 5er.

North to Alaska

For Sourdough Campground and Cafe: Loved this campground. The owners are great. The campground has mosquito mist sprayers throughout the campground and it was the only campground in Alaska that I was not eaten alive! The sourdough pancake toss was a blast. Great way to get to know the other campers. If you win you get free breakfast at their restaurant and the food was delicious. We had a FHU with 50 amp and plenty of room for our 35' 5th wheel plus truck. Nice store, restaurant, laundry, and bath house. Internet was not good but not a priority for us. Could use a little updating but the rest more than makes up for it. Will definitely be back.

Jeff

For Sourdough Campground and Cafe: Stayed here Aug 2018, during our trip up the ALCAN. This is a very good campground; sites are well spaced and heavily wooded for privacy, for pull throughs. Nice little gift shop inside the office, and a pressure washer around back (they do not supply soap or suds during the wash cycle, only water). Didn’t go to the pancake toss but was told about it from the staff. Management were friendly and energetic. Sites were clean and pet friendly.
