For KOA Journey Valdez: In addition to the previous reviews, the Wi-Fi is free, and smoking fast. There is a free honey wagon service for the w/e sites. Very friendly and helpful staff. Overall a great place to stay.

For KOA Journey Valdez: First, there is no fee for cable or Wifi. There is. $20 deposit for the cable box which you get back and the cable is very good. WiFi not so good. The camping fee was less than $40 with membership which was about half of what we paid in Homer. Sites are large and level. The other parks in town are jam packed. Dog park very small, at the hospital in town there is a really big one. Good staff. Paved bike trail into town. Overall, very good park. Don’t stay in town.

For KOA Journey Valdez: Valdez has about five RV parks. The key word for all the others is park, as in parking lot This one has green trees and space between rigs! Con: out away from town Pro: out away from town. If you tow or have bicycles you will love the location. Great bicycle trail to town. If you get a site on the west/south side you have a view of mountain peaks and a small Glacier. We stayed in our 27ft Class A. Besides the RV sites they have nice looking tent sites and little cabins. The laundry isn't much (one washer, one Dryer). We don't use the showers etc. Wasn't impressed with Valdez the town but the drive to the town is awesome and this park is nice find. (Note the City does operate a nice campground off of airport road listed as military in AllStays).

For KOA Journey Valdez: Nice park a few miles from town. Both pull thrus and back ins. Some trees and decent room overall. Fee for cable and wifi. Would come back again.
