For Deerlick Creek: This is our favorite campground we have stayed in in two years of RVing. The sites are beautiful with level concrete pads, groomed fire pit and sitting area and wooden decks overlooking the water. The staff is friendly, the park is clean and the showers/restrooms are ok. Only caution is bigger rigs on the lower loop will have a very tight turnaround. It is doable, or you can back out like we did. We will stay at this park any time we are in the area.

For Deerlick Creek: This is the nicest COE park I’ve been to! Stayed in the upper loop. The decks and trees are amazing. The park is clean and well cared for. It was so nice to arrive at a clean site!!

Janal

For Deerlick Creek: Previous posts mention tight spots but luckily the host swapped a bigger spot for us instead of a tent. The beach mentioned is questionable. Too much garbage and dirty water for us. Very quiet and somewhat isolated but only 33 minutes to Tuscaloosa.

JW

For Deerlick Creek: Nice campground, water and electric at the sites with a dump station as well on the road out. Verizon signal not too bad 1-2 bars, ATT signal weaker. Sites are nice, but many are a bit tight for larger rigs. They are paved but some have an angle up or down that may cause some tail drag in/out. Campground is quiet and the camp hosts were helpful in getting into our site. They alerted me to the fact the site I had booked would not accommodate my 38ft 5th wheel because the web site said it was a 50ft one. Recommend this location just be careful on your site selection if you have a larger rig.

Allen

For Deerlick Creek: We like this park a lot! The spacious sites are level( concrete pad with gravel dining area), and are well separated from each other. We stayed in the Tall Pines loop, which easily accommodates larger rigs. Other loops are suitable for smaller rigs AND provide many of the more beautiful views. The entry/departure angles for each site are well designed. This park is very quiet! It is remotely located, so expect a several minute drive to the nearest store. AT&T signal is good enough to stream. Verizon signal is marginal; would be fine with signal boosting/antenna. We will be back! We would have stayed longer if we had realized it was this nice! We did not do any water activity this trip.

Janine

For Deerlick Creek: Really like this campground but it depends on what you like. The sites were well separated and in the shade. Very well maintained sites. Parking on cement and dining/fire over smaller gravel or a deck. Some with 2 levels (parking and dining separate). But all sites are quite far above the lake and the paths to the lake were steep and would be slippery in the rain. Docks with benches for fishing. Safe for children to ride around. Dump was angled for easy removal of waste with a hose already available.

Donald Chamberlain

For Deerlick Creek: The woman at the gate was very friendly and helpful. She provided us with a pull through site overlooking the river through the woods. The sites are concrete pads which are level. Our site has a deck overlooking the river with picnic table, fire ring and grill. Water and electric hook up for $13. Without senior pass. The campground is close to Tuscaloosa but a bit round about to get to. We have one bar of LTE with Verizon and TV reception. We decided to spend an extra night and see Tuscaloosa and the University of Alabama
