Grampaloren

For War Eagle: It is a beautiful park with a lot of problems. The entrance road is several miles of narrow, steep, twisty hills and curves. If you have a fifth wheel or Class A you cannot stay in your lane on the curves. You'll either have to drop off the road or cross the center line. Many sites are difficult to get into. Some of them put your door facing onto the road with the site behind you. For example #24 is in the middle of a steep grade, at right angle to the road and then a drop off going into the site. If you have any kind of long rig, (our trailer is 30 foot) I would stay away unless you go in first and check out your site. Dump site was clogged and people have been using it anyway and letting their waste run down the hill. I'd try somewhere else unless you know this park well.

Arkansas Jack

For War Eagle: The attendant was very nice. The playground and swimming area are completely unkempt and depressing. The lady from the Corp of Engineers that was patrolling the park was very rude. Overall a sad experience.
