For Spadra: Site a-1 for 5 days ending November 5, 2023, in a truck camper. Site private with a hard surface on the waterside with table and fire ring. The site not level and slopes down at end. Although good water view banks are rocky and steep with no excess. Water access to Arkansas River both ends of campground. Not busy this time of year. Check in remotely and just drive in with a reservation. The camp host is friendly and comes around, keeps restrooms clean. Wishes he had more help. Good cell phone and MIFI reception. Close to Clarksville with restaurants and services. C sites most level almost all have good view. Lots of peligans to watch. Trains 2-3 per day and loud.

For Spadra: Well kept. Host was super friendly, helped us fill our fresh water since the spots are electric only. Most sites overlook the water, and the ones that don't were still spacious. The only drawbacks were 30 amp only and the dump station said no tank flushing with the provided water hook-up. I felt that was odd since most campers are equipped with a tank flush capability. Moderate boat ramp traffic.

For Spadra: The basic write up is correct. What doesn’t come through is how peaceful this campground is. Additionally being Corps of Engineers campgrounds, your senior pass get you in for eight dollars per night. Host says they almost never fill up. I’ve visited in late June, 2019 and there was a nice breeze coming off the lake which the host tells me is very normal. There are several trains that come through very close by in the evening but I did not hear any during the night. This is the second time I have stayed at this campground.

For Spadra: Well maintained campground right on a lake. The sites were in good shape with new very nice and clean bathhouses and playgrounds. It was a very nice place to overnight. Cost was $18 you need cash or a check.
