For Butterfield RV Resort: Very nice clean bathrooms and showers. Can walk to restaurants. Has a free observatory for campers. Very cool and interesting.

For Butterfield RV Resort: Great park! Stayed 1 night but would stay all winter. Many things to see in area. The staff was very friendly and intelligent. Extremely clean well taken care of park. Excellent water pressure and cable. One of the best parks we have seen and stayed at. We will certainly come again. We stayed in a 38' MH with a towed car.

Moonrover

For Butterfield RV Resort: Excellent park. Big rig friendly even though the site entries and exits are not angled. The paved streets are just wide enough to make the "swings". All short-term sites are near the very modern office/clubhouse. The facilities in that building are akin to a five star hotel. Parking is on paved pads, and gravel is between the sites. No dust. Each site has at least one medium sized pine tree, and a picnic table. Ample room to park a towed vehicle after unhooking. All utilities are in good condition. Cable TV has 18 channels including local. This park is the only one we have found that has a real astronomy observatory complete with astronomer. The park is situated behind a strip shopping mall with a nice Safeway grocery store and an Ace Hardware among other shops. Easy and short walk to this shopping strip. Benson is an interesting town and a good base to use while visiting other tourist attractions. Don't miss the opportunity to travel down to Sierra Vista. The view of the valley is breathtaking. As all parks in Benson, Butterfield RV Park gets train noise from the very active double tracks going through the center of town. They are loud, but I did not find them bad enough to ruin a good nights sleep. We camped here in a 40' motorcoach, and will do so every time we are traveling though Benson, AZ.
