For Davis Camp: This is our third RV stay at Davis Campground, but we will no longer be coming here. It is a shame that Mohave County has allowed this lovely park, which has river access and was so beautifully designed, to become a rundown, trash-strewn mess. About 60 percent of the full-hookup B-Section looks like a homeless encampment. Long-term residents live in old broken rigs (shredded awnings, some rigs sitting out of kilter on their axles), surrounded by scattered trash, rusty junk, and debris. Dogs can be seen off leash. Waste disposal is inadequate to the point of creating a health, safety, and environmental hazard. The County puts out lots of open barrels for trash, but - especially on the weekends when the picnic/day use areas are packed with locals - these are often overflowing food waste onto the ground. Also, in an area known for high winds, plastic bags and paper trash blow everywhere, including onto the river. Broken glass and beer bottle tops can be seen on the ground in the tent/picnic areas. Section A (electric/water only) and Section D (FHU) and the dry camping areas are okay for a couple of days, especially during the week and during the winter. But the park needs private, contracted management to add lidded dumpsters, clean up the accumulated trash, and enforce some rules. We camped at Davis Camp Park in a Travel Trailer.

For Davis Camp: The Davis Camp park was very large and full of seasonal campers. They essentially had all the great spots on the river. We were lucky to get a spot on the “D” loop with full hookups. However that loop is right up against the highway so sitting outside the rig was quite noisy. The bathrooms were definitely older. The men’s room had 2 out of order urinals. The showers were unisex. The middle shower of the 5 available (in the “D” loop) basically scalded you since the temperature control was non-existent. There is only a single laundromat for the entire park. It is only open 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Needless to say there is quite the competition for the 4 washers and 5 dryers (1 was out of order). There is paid wifi in the camp. We purchased a single day as a test. The performance was extremely poor and the service allowed access only to a single device. There is lots of hiking across the river on a “Heritage” trail. Also, the casinos offer quite the good variety of restaurants at many different price points. We stayed in a 32 ft Class A

Westccak

For Davis Camp: The campground is nice, set on the Colorado. I’d give it 4.5 stars except that we came on Memorial Day weekend. Hundreds if not thousands of people descended on the campground, no enforcement of the basic rules, hundreds camping in day use areas behind a big no camping sign. Toilets and showers are totally inadequate for the number of people. The camp charges $40 per person for wristbands on holiday weekends but they should at least rent some ports potties. They do an adequate Jon at least if keeping up with the trash pickup. Mariachi music blasting all night, dozens of huge speakers , no enforcement, rangers purposely avoid driving down to the day use.

For Davis Camp: Look at the site map closely can be confusing. Office staff friendly and helpful, let me change rv site. My area was 100 ft from river. Stay away from D sites . Very close to casinos.

Jistin

For Davis Camp: Clean park, 500 yards from beach was told 100 yards, gave out too many day passes so now rv'ers can't swim. $5 per day wifi that's slow, weak 30 amp breaker, no shade, 3G Verizon cell signal. If you had a boat and it wasn't on the weekend maybe, otherwise pass it up.

Mike Wetzel

For Davis Camp: This is a very nice and clean camp. Found that there is considerable aircraft traffic during the daytime that creates some noise. Very secure with monitoring traffic into and out of the park. They charge extra for pets. The fee was $30 per night as of March 2015.
