For Pioneer RV Park: The park is clean, good location and with several amenities but that is where it stops for me. When making a reservation they refused to provide a confirmation saying they don't do that. Once here we where located at the farthest most location near the freeway. Thats fine but the recent crime incidents at this park are alarming so we didn't feel safe leaving anything outside our RV while here. It's also to a point you need to use a cash app just to wash laundry because of the fear a criminal will steal the coins generated out of the machines. Then that app wants you to provide a $25.00 balance to wash laundry. We are short stay travelers and only need to wash one load. $25.00 for one load, REALLY? When speaking to staff about this they where less than helpful. Pretty much saying thats the way it is. If you wonder do we recommend staying here, you are missing our point. Apparently some folks like it here so I can only say they had better treatment as guests. One more point, in order to use the facilities you need to wear a name badge. Making it more clear they have a real problem with what I can 0nly assume is the criminal element. The police where here the day we arrived looking into a report attempted break in of one of the units.

For Pioneer RV Park: I liked Pioneer RV Park. Yes, I filled out the extensive online form. I received a call back within the hour. Our conversation did start out a bit rough. But I admitted that I was a newbie. The conversation immediately turned to being helpful and friendly. I received a call the afternoon of my arrival to determine if I was going to make check-in prior to office closing at 4 PM, giving me some options for a late arrival. All very accommodating. When I arrived and checked in, security took me over to the gravel pad location, showing me how best to pull in and all the hookups. I walked around in the evening and chatted with security. Everyone was welcoming. I was staying only one night, but the facilities were extensive and clean. Most all of the staff that I met were full time residents of the park and were eager to promote the benefits of the park and committed to the ongoing success of the park. I definitely will stay again when back in Phoenix.

For Pioneer RV Park: I have to agree with the last reviewer, this is the most unorganized and incompetent RV park we have ever encountered. You apparently can't just call up, make a reservation, give them your credit card and call it a day like everywhere else in the country. Not wanting to fill out an exhaustingly long online reservation form just to find out they didn't have space, I emailed a quick request for availability because they wouldn't answer their phone during working hours. That email was never answered, so I called several more times before finally getting someone on the phone. I asked if they had space for a week, and she said yes, and to please fill out the online form. I did invest the time to fill out the form, including details such as the floorplan of my motorhome which you must know or the form will not post. I then waited. Then it was the weekend, so I figured maybe I have to wait until Monday. Monday comes and nothing from the park. I then called and got the same voice mail. I then called back immediately and got a real person. It took several minutes for them to find my reservation request, on the pile of reservation requests on the desk of one of the girls that handles that; her words. Then it was, "oh, now I see the problem, we are waiting for permanent people to select their preferred spots before we can book new reservations." Needless to say, I wasted several days trying to book this site that is near our friends in Phoenix. My advice: save yourself from this idiotic park run by a bunch of incompetents.

For Pioneer RV Park: We have been full-time RV'ers for 5 years and have stayed several winter seasons at Pioneer. The location is great for North Phoenix, and has direct access to the desert. Our first opinion of the park was that it was quite and clean but for some reason the office staff was quite rude. We are a young 55 and thought maybe they just didn't like us? We soon learned that the office staff is rude to the general population and the General Manager, Chip Jordan, is unbelievably horrible-and always 'out of the office'. The only reason we returned after our first experience was the location is close to the grandkids, otherwise we would not have returned. The office rudeness has continued to escalate and now we feel discrimination is rampant within the park office and community. If you value civil and human rights, or maybe just prefer a welcoming smile when doing business, pick another location, you will be glad you did.

For Pioneer RV Park: Fantastic over 55 park, nice and quiet in the evenings. Neighbors are fantastic, lots to do both in the park and close by. Plenty of room for our 40ft 5er, full size dually right on site.

For Pioneer RV Park: Well A very nice well maintained park. With lots of great things to do. The spaces are pretty close together and it is crowded in the winter so best to call ahead . The staff have a lot of rules that are not written down .
