Polanna

For Point of Rocks RV Campground: The first thing we found out was that this park is no longer a member of Good Sam GSC. When we tried to hook up power we had several problems so they moved us to another site. There's a nice trail to a view site and a trail to Williams Lake. The park is close to Prescott and there are a lot of things to do both in and around Prescott. There are lots of trees, good shade, and decent-sized sites.

Mike

For Point of Rocks RV Campground: Very dusty here. They need a fresh coating of gravel to tone it down a bit. Close to town so good for that. Also lots of nice trails and hiking to and around the near by lake. The park has a lot going for it, just to bad about the excessive dust. Don't come here if you are sensitive to dust.

The Wally Llama

For Point of Rocks RV Campground: Took advice of 2nd loop spot and found it to be quite nice and very quiet. Not paved so that needs to be considered but ambience more than offsets the occasional dust created by a vehicle. Has feel of old county park. Actually pretty special.

Tuna

For Point of Rocks RV Campground: From a Pop-up tent trailer aspect...this park is ok. We usually like staying off grid and very remote, this campground was pretty clean, friendly atmosphere, but a little too noisy for our liking. We stayed in spot 46 and the road noise killed it for us. Nice open spot compared to others but between the street lights and road noise we'd prefer to stay elseware. A minor drawback was the lower restrooms and showers were out of service for remodeling so with only one working bathroom available, needless to say ... it was busy. All in all, nice stay, very friendly, and accommodating as we were a last minute booking.

For Point of Rocks RV Campground: Would be a 5 star if it wasn't so dusty/dirty.

Shop35

For Point of Rocks RV Campground: A very nice and well maintained campground set amongst interesting rock formations. There are two loops, and the lower loop does have rather loud roadway noise; however many of the sites in this loop have lovely views of surrounding mountains and the lights of Prescott in the distance at night. Also many of the lower loop sites are terraced into the hillside, which provides a great feeling of privacy. The sites in the upper loop are all flat, no road noise, and are set right into the rock formations providing interesting views. Most sites throughout are very large with plenty of room for opposing slides, awnings, and still lots of space between the next site. Most sites have native vegetation-trees and shrubs-providing nice screening between sites. All roads are gravel and well graded. Maintenance staff was professional and courteous, and arrived on site in under 5 minutes to help with any issues. The whole campground is well maintained and very clean. Plenty of trash receptacles conveniently placed, and emptied almost every day. Our cell phone service (Verizon) and the campground's wifi worked fine - no need for the signal booster. Our dish TV satellite signal came in perfectly clear. Several miles of walking trails at Watson Lake were easily accessed from a short access trail right from the campground, which was a great feature. We stayed here for six weeks in winter and thought it was very nice.

Kim

For Point of Rocks RV Campground: Just me and my furkids, chasing rain clouds and cooler temps. Found this little gem by accident and it's very nice. Just the basics, no pool or playground, silly stuff like that. Nature surrounds, bits of a view and peaceful relaxation. That's all I needed.
