For Desert Breeze Travel Camp: Campsites were mainly back in, clean and quiet. Lots of activities in the rec room. Laundry facilities had sufficient washers and dryers in working condition. Small commissary, no Exchange just a shoppette with fuel no diesel. The staff, Spenser and Rhett were very knowledgeable and personable. You‘re about 30 minutes from MCAS and Yuma. The only downside was the mosquitoes in March and they don't spray until May. Definitely stay here again.

Capn

For Desert Breeze Travel Camp: There’s nothing to do here other then sit in the camper and watch the days pass. There’s a small commissary that has most of what you’ll need. There’s also an express gas station that seems to be overpriced. I have 3 bars of AT&T and 1 bar of T-Mobile. The internet service here is lacking in coverage. I only have 2 bars of WiFi at my campsite which isn’t enough to do anything with. They have showers and laundry facilities. The toilet paper is at best 80 grade.

For Desert Breeze Travel Camp: Nice, quiet place that’s clean, has a lot of recreation options, and you’re left alone: no micromanaging! The camp hosts, Ed and Jo, are genuinely nice people! $35 for full hookup, $25 for just electric power (20/30/50) and water.q4nt58

Greg

For Desert Breeze Travel Camp: This is a nice quiet park. The staff is excellent. Mindy is awesome! Very nice rec room with ice. Easy access dumping station. Car wash is at the entrance of the camp. Laundry & shower room are adequate but only 1 toilet. When we were here our camp host (Ed) is a very nice guy. Very helpful. Yuma has a small but adequate commissary. No BX, just a shopette. No diesel at base gas station. Nearest disel about 30 minutes away. The RV park is gravel with cement patios. No shade. I actually really like this base. Very peaceful and nice staff with good prices. I’m coming back.

Connie

For Desert Breeze Travel Camp: We have stayed here several times & always find it very enjoyable The staff is friendly & helpful. Mindy was very nice. The park is clean, sites are leval, & nicely spaced. It has a gas station, small commissary, museum, small bowling alley & a couple restaurants. It is about 25 miles from Yuma. We hope to return. My only complaint is it stsys very full with longtime campers so you are lucky to get a spot.

Mindy Bench

For Desert Breeze Travel Camp: I just wanted to let everyone know they do have full hook ups. Beautiful sunsets! we had a great time staying there and exploring the area, we went up to Lake Martinez fishers landing has a fun bar n grill with bands. there’s another RV spot up there that’s Marine Corps, right on the water but not full hookups. Staff was friendly and of course i loved Mindy because she’s got the same name as me! Also go check out the castle dome mine caves north of there. Wheezys in yuma is the hot spot sports bar. And on the way into the city is a great bbq place that also serves the famous date shakes! Dirty South Bbq. only reason why I didn’t give it five stars is because it is a little way out of town but it served our needs and is very affordable.
