For Bakersfield River Run RV Park: We chose this park because of other reviews. It is in many ways a gem, secluded at the end of a street, but on the river with a nice park on the other side. Sites are level with concrete pads next to the vehicle location. Utilities are well laid out and compact, so it’s easy to heek things up. Internal roads wide. Staff are friendly and don’t obsess about pets, with cleanup stations thoughout and no restrictions on where they can be, as long as they are leashed. Landscaping well done. Route 99 not far away, but hardly noticeable. Bathrooms clean and open, but closed at night. We stayed here for one night in a 23’ motorhome, but the sites can accommodate large rigs easily.

For Bakersfield River Run RV Park: This was a last minute reservation for us and what a find. We travel south every winter and head back home in the spring and Bakersfield is the perfect stopping points. The staff was very pleasant to deal with, the park and facilities very clean. Good wifi and cable and nice room in the spaces. Not a fan of the double stacked pull throughs but for one night it’s fine. The only bummer is if our in the back portion and there is someone in the front, your tow vehicle is hemmed in for the night. The only negative is the freeway noise. A small price to pay for easy access

RVFever

For Bakersfield River Run RV Park: We stayed here for several months, the sites are nice and check in is ok but I never checked the bathrooms for cleanliness. There is a pool/spa but was closed due to Covid-19. It is great for an overnight or weekly stop but bring ear plugs for the hiway (99) noise which can be high. Also, across the River is a park that gets noisy with soccer on Sundays. If you have a toad make sure it will all fit on your pad or you will get a warning if your bumper is hanging over the curb. The sites have good spacing with grass in between, pads are cement and decent size. Next to the park is a gate leading out to the Kern River for walking the pets or exercise. I used it quite often but there are homeless camps on the other side of river but they did not bother anyone. Once while walking I did find a crack pipe on the trail but never saw anything that would give me concern. They have propane on site and a small store. Close by are fast food places and Costco. I would stay here again but not for an extended period. I see a lot of ratings at 5 stars but the noise levels and some of the rules do not make a 5 star rating in my opinion.

For Bakersfield River Run RV Park: Agree with other reviewers positive comments. In a bit of an industrial area, but this RV park is top notch and good dog walking options.

Heather

For Bakersfield River Run RV Park: We arrived after hours. The check in packet was one of the nicest I’ve seen. It even had a flyer of things to do in the area and where to eat. The sites were level and tidy. The park was well maintained. The “river” is dry. I doubt even in spring that there is much water FYI. You go through kind of an industrial area to get there that seems a little sketch but once you get into the park area it’s fine. Park was very quiet.

Leslie P

For Bakersfield River Run RV Park: Clean, very crowded. Short, curt, rude desk person. You can pass a beer to each other in the pull-in sites. Reserved a month in advance, told I would have a back in site. Not even close to true so when they tell you one is available when you book well in advance, arrive at 3:00 don’t count on what you were told.

Seal Beach

For Bakersfield River Run RV Park: It is well kept and clean. There is some freeway noise. We were there with a class A motorhome in a pull through spot. When we called we were told we got the last pull through. That was not the case. What annoyed us was with 12 spots in our row (10 were empty),they chose to put someone right next to us! Thoughtless.
