For Lake Tamarisk Desert Resort: We just stayed overnight. Very quiet place. We were there end of April and it was a hot day and cool night. Seemed like mostly nice trailer homes and the RV spots were the driveways to the homes. Wasn’t an issue and they had water and I think power hookups (didn’t use). The place is quite and clean. Had a clean pool and hot tub, and clean bathroom and shower. Also a small lake/pond is adjacent and has a walking path around it. We had 3 bars of Verizon cell. One the way from freeway we went through a dead town and several truckers were boondocking there. Looked doable as well.

For Lake Tamarisk Desert Resort: Very Disappointed, made a reservation and were told we would find reservation packet at office. However, when we got there and opened the after house box there was no reservation in the box. The after hours check-in info was not helpful. Also, office hours stated as going till 4 and we arrived at 4:02 and office already vacant. Ended up booking at Emerald Desert last minute on cell phone for more money but much better service.

For Lake Tamarisk Desert Resort: Great find! Mostly snow birds, but they take a few overnighters like us, passing through. Clean, quiet, well maintained and friendly residents (the few who live here year round - it’s hot in summer!) Very near golf course. Would be great in winter. Will definitely be back.

For Lake Tamarisk Desert Resort: What a wonderful place! Quiet, clean, clear instructions re: how to register,etc. I was here for Halloween & the only thing slightly Halloweenish was the big moon! Plan on being here whenever I travel to LA.

For Lake Tamarisk Desert Resort: Excellent place to stay overnight. Mostly full with long-term vehicles; however, management is very accommodating to overnighters. Located in the desert, about three miles off the interstate, very quiet. Nice large clean shower in each bathroom. Very clean bathrooms also.

For Lake Tamarisk Desert Resort: We enjoyed this little gem! Nice heated pool & hot tub! Mostly permanent mobile homes but people are super friendly!

For Lake Tamarisk Desert Resort: Just passing through and stoped for the night. Parked next to the great bathroom/laundry facilities steps from a very pleasant hot tub and pool. The manager was great too. Very pleasant surprise to run across this place after a long day of travel. 5 stars for $35.00! Thanks Lindsay!
