For Lakehead Campground and RV Park: My experience, April 2019: Stayed because of 4+ stars on AllStaysPro summary. Drove up to find entrance flooded and washed out ... had to traverse standing water by driving in through exit. Passed may unkempt full-timers while navigating to our site. I felt it was far enough into springtime that someone could have made some progress with a rake a and broom. "Trails" were impossible to find ... we walked along power line passing stuff people had dumped over time.
The place seems to be owned by nice people, who, I hope will do some fixing up in time for main season.
Eating: Around the corner was a tavern/restaurant THE BASSHOLE that served up a very good caramelized onion burger ... The place was clean and clearly on a upswing.
Next Time: I'll explore other options.
