For JGW RV Park: We stayed here last year, again this year and I think this is the best RV park we've ever stayed at. For the cleanliness, landscaping (love the palms) and size of the spaces especially the river sites. Many sites have privacy hedges. While it is close to the freeway, we barely hear the white noise, at least from our river site. We toured the adjacent Sacramento River RV park for the heck of it and that doesn't compare with this at all. Same for the Marina RV park, even worse. This place is a winner!

For JGW RV Park: This really was a good spot if you are driving through Redding or as a destination. Very well kept with grass and mature trees that help in summer. Great large clean bathrooms with big clean showers with plenty of space to keep your stuff high and dry.
Freeway noise was not a problem in the back spaces.
Poor Wi-Fi.
I agree the riverfront spaces with grass down to the water are especially nice. We had the large center drive-throughs and they were good too.
We would definitely stop here again. A good find.

For JGW RV Park: We spent two nights here in April, 2017 and found this park very nice, with palm trees, level pads and lush vegetation. We were lucky to get a river front site to watch the still swollen Sacramento River flow by. Lake Shasta was full from the rains this winter. Restrooms and facilities were clean and attractive. We recommend this park, and would certainly stay here again in future migrations south, or north. It is only about a 10-15 minute drive into Redding.

For JGW RV Park: Riverfront sites are very nice if you plan to be in the area for a few days or make it a week. Lots to do and see nearby. Cement pads and asphalt roads. Some sites are very large with lots of grass and trees. Road noise from highway 101 is ever present but not bad. Access road is two miles from freeway exit. Enjoyed our weeks stay very much.

For JGW RV Park: This is a lovely park. The office staff were very welcoming. The sites are some of the best we've seen. For an extra $5, it's worth taking a riverfront spot. The sites are large & private, all drive-thru, with lovely mature landscaping in between. The combo of level concrete pad, large gravel approach, & groomed lawn at each site is terrific. We enjoyed the view of the Sacramento River over the lawn from our site. All very clean. Cons are the highway noise, the $3.25/load washer & dryer costs (my guess is to deter nearby RV park permanent residents), & the frustrating intermittent internet. Signal is very strong, but there must be some major streaming going on in the evenings, as only mornings were useable. But, the setting makes up for those shortcomings. We were in our 19' trailer, but there were some very large rigs there. We would certainly return.
