For China Camp State Park: Went on a SoCal roadtrip with my son in early March, this was the northernmost part of our trip and we stayed at this camp when visiting San francisco. It is close to the city without the mess that comes with the city. I was suprised to find this tranquil a place so close to the wind and moise of San Fran. It is along the bay side and was not windy or cold. The campsites are in a wooded area that you have to walk into from a central parking lot. Not a "hike" in, but you don't park right on your site like most. They provide the large wheeled trash cans to help move your gear too. That is the cans only use, gear mover, so its not used for trash. Helps out instead of carrying, you can pull or push to your site. The sites are a good size so you are not on top of your neighbors and the bathrroms are flush and very clean. My son liked the campsite and so did I for our tour. Cost was $35 and they did take cards too with a reader at the main entrance.
