For Dakota Ridge RV Park: I would not recommend staying here. While there are some sites with a cement pad, others are asphalt and buckled from the weather, not the level sites reported on the website. Additionally sites are very close together and only one small restroom/shower/laundry room for the entire park. There is no cable and the pool was closed even though it was 86 today. I would have gone elsewhere except I had prepaid it cost (with Good Sam discounts) over $50 a night for back-in and they have a no refund policy for any reason. I was splurging when I made the reservations and saw it was the top park in Colorado. I've stayed across the US and found better services for much less money. Check your options before staying here.

For Dakota Ridge RV Park: Very close spacing in the sites. Our trailer door opens up to our neighbors sewer and water hookups (6-10 ft away). Grass in between but may not be level at all. Right next to a major hwy, so lots of trucks, motorcycles, etc. Exercise facility is 3 dilapidated machines crammed into a tiny room. "Dog walk area" is some kind of pit of little grass, weeds and baked dirt. Lots of rules but little enforcement.
pluses: curbside trash pickup daily, large clean bathroom/showers, laundry but laundry is $$$ and dryers take forever. Bathrooms are closed 3:30-5:30 for cleaning.

For Dakota Ridge RV Park: Campsite is tight. Bathrooms/laundry are clean. Good location. No fires allowed, probably due to how close the sites are. Staff (host or not) could use a customer service lesson! Especially ol' Rhonda!!! Super rude!!!! Would have given 4 stars otherwise. Oh and I think they could invest in some new registration software!

For Dakota Ridge RV Park: I had to call 3 places to get a spot for the night in Golden so I was not surprised that this was $70 plus. The staff was friendly but not very efficient and I had to use two credit cards before she ever got the # correct.

The camp is on a hill but the sites are paved. However the payment is quite uneven and narrow. The picnic table is not cemented to the ground and almost turned over when I sat down. The area has a bit of grass but lots of rough tree roots. I can't speak to bathrooms and showers as we did not use them. The location was good for the Coors Beer tour in Golden as well as a ride downtown (12 miles ) to eat at the Buckhorn. Not my favorite camp.

Jo

For Dakota Ridge RV Park: We were disappointed with this RV park because the RV sites are so close together and packed-in tight. There was no room for a good camping experience with dogs. No room to "stretch out". The restroom and laundry facilities were extremely clean and spacious - that part was awesome! We left this campsite after 2 nights of a 4 night reservation to go to a nearby state park much more accommodating for dogs and their owners that want a camping experience!
