For Lamar Sportsmans RV Park and Horse Motel: No discount even though it says so on Allstays They did take a credit card. Yes it is an older campground but it has a pool. Not a lot off shade here.

For Lamar Sportsmans RV Park and Horse Motel: Nice overnight stop with plenty of grass. Huge complaint - people here full time do not pick up their dog poop. We stopped with Irish Wolfhounds and picked up the poop. I watched 5 different people and their dogs out pooping and not pick it up. If you are to lazy to pick up the poop, do not have a dog.

For Lamar Sportsmans RV Park and Horse Motel: This park is old, broken down and not well managed. We were told on the phone that spots were 70’+, but we could not find any that were even close to that length. Barely fit our 44’ 5th wheel. There is conflicting length info on different sites/apps, so we called to verify, but we’re given bad info. We were also told on the phone that they accepted Good Sams discount, but when we arrived they said no. Office is a dump! We asked for a refund and were denied. Not even a partial refund. Terrible business practice! Hooks are clearly old and not maintained. Would recommend staying clear of this place!

For Lamar Sportsmans RV Park and Horse Motel: New owners are busily working to make this park a real destination spot in Lamar. They are beyond friendly and helpful. The owner and her staff can be seen daily monitoring cleanliness, noise, etc., yet the attitude of all is laid back and easy. The squeaky clean pool is a gathering spot as is the pavilion which sports public grills and picnic tables. This is a country park, so farm odor can waft in at times, but it's by far the friendliest, sweetest place we've found in Colorado. We had no problem with pot holes or parking a 45' rig (plus car).

For Lamar Sportsmans RV Park and Horse Motel: Called and they said they a plenty of spots available all pull through. We got there they only take cash or check, full of pot holes, sites were to short, lots of trucks parked everywhere, people yelling at us "we don't have a spot for you". We didn't stay! This is one I would pass up.
