For Bruce Spruce Ranch: Spent 2 nights in a lovely campsite. Friendly and helpful staff. You can tell the campground has been here for along time (not modern) but that is part of its charm. Would stay there again if in the area. The catch and release ponds are clear and you can see good sized trout.... too bad we didn’t bring a fly rod!

For Bruce Spruce Ranch: Husband and I were looking for a place to spend the night half way between Lake Powell and Denver. Unfortunately we could only spend one night and had to leave the next day but this camp ground is so amazing and the owners who run it are so kind. By the looks of all the greenery you wouldn’t think there would be hook ups but YES. Bathrooms, laundry and free wood from the pile if you split it. There’s a fishing pond and cabins if you don’t have a camper. Trees for days. We will definitely stay here again and for more than one night!

For Bruce Spruce Ranch: This is perhaps the most beautiful campground I have ever seen. The landscape changes dramatically as you get out of Pagosa Springs into Alpine Meadows and souring mountainsides. Unfortunately I couldn't stay here because with my stub booster I could only get 3 bars of extended Verizon at my site. Standing in the middle of the road through camp got 2 bars of 3G, but I don't think I could set up my desk there! The owner told me some people stay there and work with larger boosters. They were extraordinarily kind about the whole thing and even accepted the packages I had already sent there even though I ended up staying at a location closer to town with Verizon coverage.
