For Heaton Bay Campground: Great base camp for biking and kayaking and exploring the various resort communities in the area. Accommodating camp hosts, clean facilities. Sites are well spaced, some with shade, some sun. Good WiFi. Wish they stayed open into Fall.

For Heaton Bay Campground: A dry campground, water available in the campground on Lake Dillon. Great bike path right at the campground. Kayaking launch very close by. Very spacious camp sites. Friendly and helpful host. All around a great place to camp.

For Heaton Bay Campground: Beautiful scenery, great trails for walking and biking, close to restaurants and groceries if needed. A little bit of road noise from the freeway, but not bothersome.
