For Dover AFB Famcamp: We stayed in site #3 from Aug 10-16, 2021 in our 40' motorhome with tow vehicle. It's a nice little park with good space between each site. We could hear a little aircraft noise, but nothing bothersome. We are fully contained so didn't use the bath house and cannot comment on that. We did use the laundry, which has one washer and one dryer. The dryer didn't dry very well at all. I ended up hanging our towels outside to dry. One negative we noticed was there's no-one available after hours and weekends in this RV park. I only mention this because the power went out on sites one and two while we were there and the people staying in site one were not there, but their two dogs were in the rig. It was hot, in the 90's and those poor dogs, with no a/c. The MP's were notified and they were able to get the door open and prop a fan in the doorway for some relief - thank goodness. They were able to get the power back on within a couple hours, although I'm sure it would have much quicker had there been a camp host or contact number for the RV park manager. It turned out to just be a breaker that needed resetting. Use commercial gate if at all possible. We went to main gate, as instructed, in our 40' motorhome with tow vehicle. It's a VERY TIGHT CURVY entrance to the main gate. Our tow vehicle TPMS valve ended up getting broken off one tire in the curves. We made it to the commissary parking lot to change the tire. $50 later our tire was fixed and we were good to go. One note, when using the commercial gate, use the lane farthest to the left since you don't need to get inspected. You may have to go into the office not let them know you're there - heading to the RV park. Additional tip - don't bother trying to use General Delivery to get mail. We verified twice with USPS on base and still our package was rejected/reurned to sender.

For Dover AFB Famcamp: Small campground but flat. Had no problem getting our 41’ 5th wheel in there. Bath house was closed. Very nice playground for the kids. If you have a big rig like mine DON,T come in the main gate. Come in the commercial gate.

For Dover AFB Famcamp: not what i was hoping for but for a port in a storm it was fine.

For Dover AFB Famcamp: Water unavailable at sites due to bad weather but toilets/showers (1 ea for men and women) are available and hot! One washer and one dryer on site. Snow plough did come through and make sure no one was completely stuck! We are passing through on our way to next duty station and are managing fine with facilities and electricity! Reservations are not available, first come, first served but it's easy to get to and there are a couple pull throughs available.

For Dover AFB Famcamp: Poorly managed campground. No reservations accepted; must drive into AFB to see if any vacancy. No rules, unoccupied RVs in some sites. Only 10 sites but plenty of space. Great potential but obviously campground is not a priority for management.
