For Big Pine Key Fishing Lodge: Just returned from a weeklong stay at Big Pine Key Resort! This was our first stay in the Keys and we absolutely loved this resort! The staff were amazing and extremely accommodating. We originally reserved a back-in site (#57), but checked with office to see if there were any cancellations on a canal front site. We snatched a canal front site on night 2! All of the campsites are very close to the water and have access to waterfront fire pit and grills! Would absolutely stay here again!

For Big Pine Key Fishing Lodge: Great campground. Very clean, nice bathrooms, nice pool, nice activities room and good laundry facility. The Key deer that roam around are a nice addition. Only drawback is 40 minute drive to Key West but scenery is beautiful on the way!

For Big Pine Key Fishing Lodge: Big Pine Key Fishing Lodge - You don’t have to fish to stay here A great location on the Keys. We stayed in a 22 foot Roadtrek Class B camper with electric, water and sewer at each site but there were spots for every type of RV including rustic camping and tenting. What makes this place special are the friendly seasonal campers who welcome newcomers and your participation should you so wish in the numerous activities available: daily water aerobics, shuffleboard, a clubhouse with comfortable chairs, wifi, two televisions, a small library, a pool and ping pong table, arts and crafts, cards, an incredible elevated and big size swimming pool with lounge chairs and a shaded area to sit and read, a circular propane fire pit by the water, an observation deck to admire the wildlife in the mangroves, clean laundry facilities with space to fold your clothes, and a huge centrally located bathhouse cleaned daily and well maintained. Of course, fishing is popular (huge tarpon, grouper, etc) and many have boats and kayaks easily launched on the beautiful waters directly from the campground. A beach walk in the morning from their nature trail or a walk across the Spanish bridge while enjoying a morning sunrise is a great way to start your day. As for the staff, they work non stop to accommodate their clients and ensure an enjoyable stay for all. Sites are small, clean, trees are being planted to provide more privacy, washrooms and showers are immaculate and scrubbed daily, the clubhouse and outside facilities are cleaned and swept regularly, waste is picked up daily. Special thanks to Amy and Christa who made it possible for us to stay a month and to all the wonderful people we met at this location. Recommend you reserve in advance. It is well worth it.
