For Flamingo Lake RV Resort: My family and I stayed at Flamingo for 4 nights recently while attending to business in Jacksonville. We found out when we got there that only some of the sites are paved. The back area is mostly dirt roads in bad repair with gravel sites. They were working on the road so one part was blocked off. The bulldozers started every morning before 7 a.m. Be prepared to wash your rig after the trip. The sewer hook up was very far from the camper so be prepared. A normal hose and extension will not reach. The cable was not very good as several channels had interference/poor reception. The staff was not overly friendly, but was not rude. We did not use the bath houses. This could be a beautiful spot with a little investment and a few changes. However, right now it is slightly below average.

For Flamingo Lake RV Resort: Update review. This time we were on the south side of the lake. Grass and gravel pads and a dirt road filled with pot holes. It seems they are expanding. A whole new section coming soon. My complaint is that rather than spend money on expanding, they should use it to improve existing areas. Especially the roads. It looks like they’re more interested on increasing revenue than fixing up existing sections.

For Flamingo Lake RV Resort: Expected much more for the money we paid. Website shows basic site having nice paved sites. When we arrived, not only was it not paved but it was gravel and mostly underwater. We asked to be moved and they did agree to give us another gravel site. It rained that night and I had 2 inches of water surrounding me. No way to get to the door without being in water. They reluctantly moved us again to another gravel site but because the site had a lake view (not on the lake ) they called us and rudely said we had to pay more for that site. Are you kidding me!!! You can’t give me a site that is acceptable so you charge me more!!! I expect a piece of land without water on it for $220 for 3 nights. I don’t think that is too much to ask

For Flamingo Lake RV Resort: I totally disagree with Stanley from Tenn. There are a lot of activities here and people are always having a good time. But it does quiet down after 10. I come here often because my daughter and grandchildren live in the area. There is much to do for the kids, so I don’t mind the $3/ per. This place is always full too for a reason, so be sure to make reservations in advance.

For Flamingo Lake RV Resort: Beautiful location on the lake. We were greeted by a gentleman who escorted us to our lot and then helped us park. He then came by later and took our garbage. There was a lot of pleasant activity going on until around 8pm and then everything was quiet and peaceful. My wife and I ditched our evening plans to sit outside on our sight by the lake and enjoyed the beautiful weather.

Stanley

For Flamingo Lake RV Resort: Good place to stay if you like to drink loud parties and could not even hear my tv inside my camper complained and I was the bad person because was told I know we sell beer in the office and they can be loud if they want until 10 o'clock If you have family or friends in the area and they want to come over for dinner it will cost them $3 a person to come and visit at your camp site that you have already paid for wi-fy available but does not work paved roads in the front but other places gravel and not maintained a lot of dust on your camper and truck. Loud noise from traffic on 295 all the time day and night and airport near so they fly over

For Flamingo Lake RV Resort: Lovely park close to just about anything one would need. Grounds are well maintained with gravel or tarred sites. We stayed in a lakeside site in a big rig. Easy parking and hook-up. Staff very friendly. Nice walking, great swimming beaches, all around a great park! We're going back!!
