For Bear Island - Big Cypress National: Liked it last year so planned return. Luckily we stopped at Big Cypress Welcome Center where we learned they had just gone to reservations only. Would have driven 24 miles on gravel road only to find out no iron ranger. Made reservations on rec.gov immediately for 8 days

Our Path
For Bear Island - Big Cypress National: Great spot to explore Everglades. Easy access in big rig with great view of lake and alligators. Vault toilet and trash / recycling. No dump or water but easy access to both. Would stay again

For Bear Island - Big Cypress National: Quiet. Not many people here at all on our stay. Basic place. Level sites.
