For Fishermans Cove RV Park Marina: If you’re looking for a old fashion campground, this is not it. But a nice full time residential RV park with a dis functional HOA, this is it. 2 pages of rules, but none enforced. 90%+- of residents are seasonal or full time. All of them we met, very nice. We had a lovely corner lot; wide and paved. Dumping uphill was a challenge but other than that great.Most nights, very quiet …..If it wasn’t for the neighbor running his generator till 3:45am one night we would completely ignore the no picnic table, grill or fire pit. Thus why it feels more like a residential park. Location is great. Close to MtDora and back ways to Winter Park and beyond. Its just too bad the office staff were not interested in hearing about infractions since ……..they don’t enforce anyway For the most part, the sites are pretty well spaced just No yard maintenance that we could spot 🙂

For Fishermans Cove RV Park Marina: What a dump...what does it tell you when the Loves fuel stop has award winning grass compared to this place and at top dollar...never again!

For Fishermans Cove RV Park Marina: They are in the process of adding new concrete slabs to all the sites, which would be a great improvement had they used a company that possessed a level. The new site are way out of wack. We had to drive our coach up on leveling pads just to get the excess grade to go off. The auto level still had an issue trying to level the coach since all four corners were at different levels. Next fun event was when I went to dump the tanks. The clean out is all new piping, but was obviously installed by someone who had never dumped tanks or had no understanding of gravity. The clean out is sitting up hill and is sticking out of the ground about 8 inches above ground level. I could on dump the tanks to the 50% level so I gave up trying and used the dump station to empty my tanks. Bottom line, someone who is not a camper must be running the redevelopment. We will not be staying here again. Which is a shame because this WAS one of our favorite local spots to weekend at. Also, there is an infestation of some kind of bug that looks like a cross between a love bug and ant. They totally covered the base of the tree at our site and got all over everything we had outside. I had to spray Raid on each item and then wipe them down before storing them away. We informed the office but no one showed up to spray or deal with the infestation.

For Fishermans Cove RV Park Marina: Went to check in here today after reviewing their immaculate web site and booking as a Passport America member. Even though their park was nowhere full and there were plenty of empty campsites they tried to give us one of the worst sites they had. We went back to the office and my wife explained the site would not work for us. The woman working there got quite nasty, suggesting we could pay over three times as much for a nicer site. This seemed like a racket of bait and switch to get PA members in then up sell. On top of that we had prepaid and were refused any refund. We left and went elsewhere. While the upper, nicer and much more expensive sites were on concrete pads most of the rest were in grass. It also appears this place is mostly full of residential people and some places were run down and trashy. On top of that they advertised cable TV, but were giving us a site that did not have it. I would never recommend this campground, advertised as a luxury RV resort. Their slick web site is very misleading. I will also be complaining to Passport America about this place.

For Fishermans Cove RV Park Marina: Needs some repair in places. Might try one more time and see if it is better later on.
