For KOA Holiday Lake Oconee / Greensboro: I have mixed feelings about this park. We are Travel Resorts of America members which limits our booking window, but because the park is also part of KOA, trying to get one of the lake view sites is nearly impossible. And I would say this park is not big rig friendly, very few sites can accommodate a 40 ft rig and 50 amps is limited. There are a lot longterm owners, but most of those sites are well maintained. Our site was very challenging to level. The pools were nice, but the liners could definitely use a good cleaning. We camped at North Shore Landing in a Fifth Wheel.

For KOA Holiday Lake Oconee / Greensboro: Just stopped for an overnight stay. Had a cement pad that was pretty level. Cement fire pit and a wood deck. Family friendly with activities. We had a nice walk on paved roads. The whole park has hills and you can get a nice cardio on your walks. Overall a nice place to stay.

Dale

For KOA Holiday Lake Oconee / Greensboro: Stayed the weekend here and was very happy. We were able to see the lake in the distance from where we were staying at, and we had a nice patio on our lot. Lot was pretty level for us. Two downsides…. Some of the park’s roads are rough and need to be either paved or regraded/Re-graveled. In spot 104, the sewage connection was slightly on an upgrade which makes it tough to empty out the black/gray tanks.

For KOA Holiday Lake Oconee / Greensboro: Very nice park with beautiful views of Lake Oconee. Showers/Restrooms were clean and well maintained. Activities planned for the weekend for guests. The one caveat is that some of the lots are crazy unlevel. The lot assigned to me was so unlevel that even with the assistance of park staff with a 3-ton jack we couldn’t get my 29’ class C level. Over 10” of blocks and I was still needed another inch or two but was afraid to go higher. I’m a member here and they couldn’t give me a more level site??? My rig doesn’t have jacks. My neighbors had their jacks fully extended and resting on 5” of blocks.

For KOA Holiday Lake Oconee / Greensboro: We stopped at this KOA on our way to/from Texas. So we stayed twice. We were upgraded both times to a pull thru from a backup spot, which was greatly appreciated. The area is nice/clean. Very quiet. The views of the lake are awesome. The WiFi is poor but had great cell service w Verizon so it worked out. Customer service was A+. Overall, great place to stay and would recommend!

William Messeroll

For KOA Holiday Lake Oconee / Greensboro: This park has the potential to be a nice RV park if they do some work. The sites are unlevel and very close.to each other hardly enough room to open sides or canopy. When we checked in we had to wait due to someone being in the spot that they planned on putting us in. So after waiting what felt like a long time they told us to back up a hill and pull into another spot. The Escort told us that the sites were very skinny and due to that they are leaving a space between each RV. On two occasions so far we have had another RV pulled in next to so close we are unable to use our picnic table and have had to move our chairs and not even able to use the fire ring due to it being right next to the other RV for safety. What I don't understand is there are 12 or more empty sites around us. But no they pull someone in so close that we can't even use what little green space there is between sites

For KOA Holiday Lake Oconee / Greensboro: Beautiful view and very peaceful. We arrived late just after sunset and although they we closed, we were guided into our site by very nice gentleman. Wish we could have stayed longer. Going to keep this on our list to return.
