For Jekyll Island Campground: Mike and Cheryl here. We have a 44 foot Class A RV. Here is my review of Jekyll Island Campground. We had a great time. The road in is fine. Take the first left once on the island or otherwise you go through a round-a-bout. Camp office and store is nice. Very friendly. They have staff to take you to your site. Camp sites differ depending on what section you are. We had section T, which is their newest. It is big and spaced nicely. The sites were level and are gravel. None have water views. There are many pull thru and back in sites. Most have full hook up. We had good Wifi and they have cable. Very nice. All have pic nik tables and fire ring. The bathhouse is nice. They have garbage and recycle disposal. Bike trails are just outside the park. You can bike the whole island. 21 mile loop. Section B is also nice. Lots of shade, but a little closer together than I like. Dream Big, Travel Far, Live Well...

For Jekyll Island Campground: Place is great. Bugs are a nuisance, but friendly staff, very nice location and will definitely come back!!!

For Jekyll Island Campground: Beautiful campground and location. Some paved roads and others hard packed sand. All sites hard packed sand. Good WiFi. Only problem are some narrow roads and trees making things tight. In fact I had to back my rig out of our pull through as trees on each side of exit did not all room to turn onto road.

For Jekyll Island Campground: This was our 3rd stay at Jekyll Island and we have never been disappointed. As with nearly all private campgrounds, sites are closer together than I like.My wife and I enjoy bicycling and the island provides a lot of opportunities. The campground facilities are good but will soon need upgrading. We always enjoy our stay here and the helpfulness and friendliness of the staff help keep us happy. We will be back again, god willing.

For Jekyll Island Campground: Lots of trees make the park shady but also hard to maneuver around and leave lots of leaves on top of the sandy surface. Some of the roads are paved, none of the campsites are paved; just hard packed sand and Live Oak leaves. We had a fairly level pull-thru site with 50 amp FHU’s, picnic table and fire ring. The views are into the dense woods mixed with palm trees, palmettos, live oak and Spanish Moss; sand-fleas and mosquitoes are voracious. After adding the nightly cost: $45 + pet deposit of $3.25 per pet + $10 daily charge to enter the island, I’m not sure I would return here.

For Jekyll Island Campground: This campground is great! Full hook up and the staff is very helpful. The campground is convenient to everything and is very quiet even though when we stayed it was very crowded.

For Jekyll Island Campground: A nice facility, staff was especially friendly and helpful. Excellent wi-fi.Shower and bathroom facilities were clean and well maintained. My only knock on the place is that even on a sunny day, the trees are so tall and full that little sunlight gets to your campsite. Beautiful live oaks covered in Spanish moss, but the lack of sunlight in the campground can leave a gloomy appearance. Regardless, Jekyll Island campground is a place I have already reserved a spot at for next year.
