For Cross Creek Campground and Cabins: In all transparency, we didn’t stay here. Just decided to check it out on our travels. We were excited to visit this campground after reading the glowing review on this site. While we love “small campgrounds with few amenities,” this place was a fenced-in space behind some full time RVs that look like they’ve definitely been there awhile. If this had been our destination, I’d have kept going. Different strokes for different folks, I guess.

For Cross Creek Campground and Cabins: We stayed here for a week in June, 2016, in a 43 ft motor home with a 16 ft trailer. This was our first visit and we will definitely go back again! We were able to unhook trailer and stow onsite at no extra charge. Rick, the proprietor, is a great host--helped us back into our site. The campground is small but immaculate, with lovely landscaping and close to all points of interest in the area. Our site, with picnic table and fire ring, was shaded by a large tree with a small stream running behind.
Cross Creek does not have all the bells and whistles such as a pool or major playground area, and adjust their prices accordingly. We will definitely book a longer stay on our next visit.
