For Skidaway Island State Park: Back again this year. Great place. Two things of note. Try “What’s For Dinner”. Pre made meals you put in your oven. Also, the Wednesday free show at Lucas Theater. Pretty cool. Enjoy the campground

For Skidaway Island State Park: Camped two nights Sat-Sun April 1-2, 2023. Made reservations one week in advance as the place is popular. Campsites have nice privacy and facilities are clean and well maintained. Didn't use the park much other than as a base to tour Savannah. There appeared to be good kayaking and fishing opportunities at a nearby boat launch about 1/2 mile outside the park.

For Skidaway Island State Park: Among the best campgrounds we’ve ever visited. Have been there twice (January ‘22 & December ‘22), 7 days each visit. First, the park employees are superb - friendly, efficient, welcoming. The park is in excellent condition, main office is very nice and bath houses are clean and well maintained (disclosure: we travel in a 5th wheel and don’t use the bathhouse but I have visited them to inspect). As mentioned, some sites are W/E some are FHU. The sites are huge, great separation, most are quite private. The washers and drier’s work well. The park roads are a bit bumpy but go slow and you won’t have a problem. The hiking trails are well maintained, short buy enjoyable. There is a Publix 1/2 mile from the parks main entrance.

For Skidaway Island State Park: Great site 46. This is a top 1% campground. Great spacing of sites. Good trails. Some sites have sewer and some don’t. Would do again

For Skidaway Island State Park: Stayed here for a few days in late October on our way to Florida. For a State Campground, it's Top Notch! Large pull through and pull around sites with a lot of extra space. Easily fot my 38 foot Travel Trailer and truck. Bathrooms are new and clean. Some really nice hiking trails through the marshlands. Close to Savannah. Definitely a come-backer!

For Skidaway Island State Park: Loved the campground among mature trees with few poor sites. Nice walking trails and appreciated laundry facilities. Close enough to Savannah for a day.

For Skidaway Island State Park: Mike and Cheryl here. We have a 44 foot Class A RV. Here is my review of the campground at Skidaway State Park Campground. Getting to the campground is all on good roads. The roads in the campground are paved and in OK condition. Some trees need to be trimmed back so they do not hit the motorhome. The campground office was new and everyone were friendly. They give you a map to your site. Small camp store. There is a large area for parking while checking in. The road signage to our site was very bad. We saw lots of confused people during the week. Sites have fire pits and firewood is available at the nearby stores. Our site was 50, a back in site with a picnic table. The campground is full of big beautiful tree. Our site was level. The site was dry. The site was gravel with a crushed sand patio. The campground has no seasonal folks. The bath house is nice and clean. The camp host were none social. Laundry is good. There is no pool, ping pond, basketball, cornhole, but you have a nice play ground and outdoor fitness area. There is no restaurant on site, but the campground is close to town. No Cable TV service is available. No Wifi is available. Over the air antenna was good. No road noise to note. Our site was long and wide. Lots of room. The grounds were well maintained and looked nice. There is good spacing between each site. So why a 3. The road signs were terrible. Trees need to be trimmed. Never saw the camp host. I like sites 4, 50, 26 and 10 are my favorite. We would come back. Dream Big, Travel Far, Live Well...
