For James H Floyd State Park: Very nice park with several easy hiking trails around the two small lakes and surrounding areas. Narrow winding roads on the drive in to the park, beware of blind turns. I didnt like the campground being so far from the two lakes, almost 1/2 mile. Camp host Bruce was very friendly and possibly doing to many tasks around the park other than campground. Camp sites are mostly level on gravel pads and spaced apart nicely to have a private feel. I would suggest choosing any site on the right side of the road. 30amp max with water at 40psi. AT&T service was extremely week one bar signal. Men’s bathroom needs more attention towards cleaning. Campground was well maintained and quiet other than a few dogs that barked at everything.

For James H Floyd State Park: This is a beautiful State Park with very friendly, helpful staff, & so much to do!
Paddle boats & fishing on the lake; multiple trails---one leading to an abandoned mine!
Bathrooms are clean; campsites are large & level. Nice playground; pet friendly. Hope to come back for longer stay sometime.

For James H Floyd State Park: Very nice park, clean level sites, picnic table, lantern poles, fire pit with grate and a separate waist high grill, trash cans, water, power, gravel. Super clean. Bath house with great heat and pressure. Staff are slvery friendly, Jane was the camp host when I came and was very accomadating when I showed up late. The road to the campsite is narrow and lots of blind turns, but this is North Georgia. I made it in with a 37 ft fiver, in the dark and rain, but I would do anything I could to come in here while the sun is up if you have a long rig. Lots of pull throughs. No sewer at the site, some have a grey dump only, but there is a dump station on the way out, only reason I didn't give 5 stars.
