For Carl Spindler Campground: We were in and out quickly so we didn’t use facilities other than hook-ups but it’s a great location and seems to be in very nice condition

For Carl Spindler Campground: We give this park a "Good to very good" (but not excellent) rating. As with nearly all state parks across the country this one is a bit tired. However, for Peoria it is one of the best. Jubilee state park is ok but even more tired and the electricity is spotty with slow cell/phone coverage and it's 15 minutes further from everything. We were able to get our 43' class A into the spot (back in only) and hook up without issue. The staff is friendly and laid back and even though Spindler has many (nearly) full timers it isn't overly cluttered or messy. This isn't a "showplace" but it's a very good place to stay when visiting P-town

For Carl Spindler Campground: There are a lot of seasonals in this park and it could use a little TLC, it is a good base to visit Peoria & surrounding area. Sites were level, spacing between was adequate. Restrooms were clean.
