For Indiana Dunes State Park: We stayed a couple of nights in this park in July of 2017. We LOVED this park! GREAT family atmosphere, great location, safe, fun, clean, well taken care of, nice beach. It was crowded with lots of kids but we loved everything about it.

Except it wasn't full hookup - electric only. If there had been full hookups, we would have given it a 5 star rating.

Good cell service so we could work ok.

We will be back to check out the sand dunes better.

For Indiana Dunes State Park: Beautiful park with very, verywidely spaced sites. No screening between them, but this is more than made up for with the wide spacing. We paid $24 in mid April. Great state park!

For Indiana Dunes State Park: Stayed two nites, during the week, right after Labor Day. Park was not crowded nor was campground. The beaches and state park are beautiful! great views. nice park for bike riding. campground staff was very friendly but didn't seem to know anything about the park or camping. large campsites with trees and a few bushes in between sites. Sites are level with good concrete pads. May stay here again due to natural beauty of the park - other than that I wouldn't due to high cost of campground ($25 weekdays/$30 weekends) plus $12 non-Indiana resident park access. This was for an electric only site! Also the facilities (bathhouses) are basic.

For Indiana Dunes State Park: Campground seems to have been designed for RVs. There are concrete site pads, the roads and site "driveways are asphalt. Large trees throughout but no screening between sites - which are closer together than in more rustic state parks. During the summer when the campground is at or near capacity it can feel very crowded. Indiana Dunes SP is a great park and well worth a visit.
