Carolyn

For Gunsmoke RV Park: The woman up front was very rude. So rude, that we left and stayed at Watersports RV park.

For Gunsmoke RV Park: Great RV park ... very clean (strict dog rules which we appreciate), bathroom & showers 5 star. Highly recommend.

Reditch

For Gunsmoke RV Park: Would not recommend this park, owner was less than hospitable. No discounts for anything, no cable TV and we're were told no refunds for any reasons. Understandem having rules, but we were told do anything I don't like I will kick you out. We won't be back

Management Response October 22, 2016

Please, don't lie about my park. You folks don't have to like me or my rules but saying I said things I didn't say is just wrong.

I don't have to give discounts with my everyday LOW prices. I DO NOT advertise Cable TV on my Web Site any longer, or in any of my paid advertising. If you do see it somewhere, it should all be changed in the 2017 books since I lost the Cable in Sept. of 15 after '16 books deadlines. As far as kicking you out for anything at all, I NEVER say that for ALL the rules. I just tell you I'm going to give you the BOOT if you break the Dog Rules. NO ONE else even hears me say that if they don't have dogs. Therefore You must of had a pet and was told at check-in. Responsible Pet owners NEVER have a problem with my rules and actually thank me for them. Thank you for not coming back here and me or your dog at risk on my Property.

Casualemt

For Gunsmoke RV Park: Owner has strict rules that I think made the park nicer, friendly, and well organized. Easy in and out with 36'MH towing a car. Best in Dodge city!

cab

For Gunsmoke RV Park: We arrived, after calling ahead, to find that the office was very confused about which sites were available for two nights. Initially, wanted to give us a site which was too short for our setup. But, they were very accommodating. The front section seemed unkept (several sites had very low hanging branches) and the rear section (very large pull thrus) was more appealing. Did not use facilities so cannot speak to the cleanliness.

Cherie

For Gunsmoke RV Park: Only stayed one night but it was very pleasant. Very strict dog rules, no tethers or pens allowed. Must be with a human on a leash at all times and must clean up after them...which everyone should do anyway. Nice quiet site and the hostess was friendly once she got to talking.

Tiffany

For Gunsmoke RV Park: Pretty nice place to stay. The grounds are kept up and bathhouse is clean. I've seen a couple of reviews that say it's too far to walk from the back spaces. We had a dog and were put in the back to be closer to the grass pet area and I didn't think it was too bad of a walk to get to the showers. Pricing for laundry was reasonable. The dryers took longer than usual but not too bad all in all. There are a lot of rules and at first the owner seemed rude but I think she's just trying to run a quiet and clean park and just comes across more harsh than she actually means to. That being said the atmosphere is a bit tense and because dogs aren't allowed to be tethered and have to be on a leash attached to a human at all times there is no one outside relaxing in the evenings. Maybe it's just a quiet group of people but we stayed two weeks and had various neighbors and never saw anyone outside in the evenings. In addition, there is no cable! We were able to get PBS with our antenna...so with no tv why weren't people outside?!? Just a little odd. If you are ok with the rules that are clearly set out and want a quiet park Gunsmoke is perfect.
