For Melody Acres Campground: The lady was very nice on the phone. But when we arrived we were surprised how run down it was. Tall weeds and electric wires just sticking out. Sites we’re unlevel.
We turned around and left. I texted the owner to let her know we were not staying and she charged us the $24.00 anyway.

For Melody Acres Campground: Once you get pay the peeling paint and rundown appearance, we liked this place. Roomy gravel spots, trees, good WiFi. The location was perfect for us. A bit away from downtown with easy access. Did not use showers or laundry. So 4 stars from us but maybe not for someone who wants a more resort like atmosphere.

For Melody Acres Campground: Love the location of this park, close to bike or walking trails, the zoo, community pool, salt mine and Cosmosphere. The managers were friendly and quick to respond. The laundry was clean and air conditioned. The bath house was spotless but hot as heck! The park has many trees and lots of birds, bunnies and squirrels. It's not as travel-social as some because there are many longer-stay guests who work during the day. That means it's extremely quiet. We have stayed here multiple times and will stay again.
