For Cottonwood Point: I was on Loop H in site 140. The sites are pretty nice. They're flat, almost each has a covered picnic table, a grill, and a firebox. Surprisingly this site had a sewer hookup. The roads are paved and sites are gravel but all of the hookups sit on a concrete pad, which is nice if it rains. The sites are nicely laid out with lots of space in between, but the roads and sites are narrow and wiith a longer rig (30 foot trailer - not a 5th wheel - and 12 foot truck) I found it difficult to back in. I have to admit the 60 degree turn is a tad beyond my skill set right now; didn't help that there was a post in the way. My Verizon cell service was 3 and 4 bars 5G. There's obviously no highway noise and enormous areas to walk dogs. You could only book a site online because of staff shortages. The park is great and there's a really nice view along the lake, but the biggest downsides are that it's a long way into town and check-in is not until 6:00 PM. I understand why, because they want folks to have a nice week-end, but it's not so great for those of us who are just traveling through. It was easy to navigate to your site, but frankly there were no exit signs and getting out of the park was a bit more challenging.

For Cottonwood Point: Beautiful back in site next to water. Restrooms very clean. Geese everywhere around so some areas you had to watch for goose poo but that’s nature. They have algae at this time so no swimming although there is precautions for fishing. Many sites have full hookups and would def try getting one of those next time. Many are walk ups.

For Cottonwood Point: A very clean and nice campground. The grass is well manicured, the shelters are nice as well as the picnic tables and grills. We stayed at site 95 which was a back in on the water. What a beautiful lake side site.

For Cottonwood Point: Mostly level sites. Fills up on the weekends so plan for that. Trail was good.
