For Fairview Riverside State Park: The five star rating is for the section of the campground where the premium sites (61-82) are located. These sites are near the river and in the nicest section of the campground. His area has a boat launch as well as a boardwalk along the river. The rest of the campground gets four stars. Th campground was build in the 60's when rigs were shorter so maneuvering between trees to get larger rigs situated can be a challenge. Roads and site pads are paved and there is adequate space between the level sites. The bathhouse for sites 1-60 has six individual restroom - each with a shower. The bathhouse for the premium area is the standard style with men's and women's sections. Both bathhouses look new, have laundry facilities, and are very well maintained.

For Fairview Riverside State Park: This is a very beautiful park. It is very clean and well maintaned. The bathrooms are nicer and cleaner than some hotels I've stayed in! The park's office is open late for the long day traveler. The employees we interacted with were very helpful and nice. There is also security on site.
