For Black Bear Campground: Stayed here one night en route elsewhere. Agree with other reviewers that even with its convenient location off the highway, this campsite is very overpriced. Nice playground and pool for the kids, but otherwise there is nothing here worth seeing. Probably 1/3 permanent or seasonal sites. To put it nicely, not a very classy feel to this campground.

For Black Bear Campground: $50 for a night of camping and they nickel and dime you for a shower. And there are no chairs or benches to sit on in the bath house. Our campsite was not level, so we had to use leveling blocks. The electric hookup did not have an off switch. No, this is not a $50/night campground. Unless you’re desperate to get off the road, pass this place by.

For Black Bear Campground: Very descent CG. Large, fairly level sites throughout. Water, electric, sewer and cable worked fine.

Stayed just one night passing through. Back-in site (#117) was deep enough to stay hooked up (28' TT) and on a slight grade so when the tongue jack was raised to remove the weight from the truck, we were perfectly level.

Easy access to I-95 and appears to be close to beaches and many shopping & dinning options. Would stay again.

K-10 Deployment Unit

For Black Bear Campground: Not a bad campground, but pretty pricy though. We have been here twice for the full hookups to rebooted after dry camping. We came back again because of the convenient location (just of I-95) while traveling through the New England Area. Staff here are super friendly and helpful. Sites are mostly level and the atmosphere is quiet (but you can hear the freeway). I was surprised to see the showers were .50 for 5 min. we did not use them as we showered in our motor coach, the condition of the showers were not impressive either.
The water here is outstanding, and honestly the reason we stopped again on our way through. It is city water, but the camp is very close to the city wells it comes from. Very cold, clean water, makes us happy to fill our tanks from here. Worth a stop, interesting beach areas nearby, and if you are rebooting from dry camping you will love the clean cold water here.

Sharon

For Black Bear Campground: Terrible place to stay, Mosquitos carry you off, then someone shooting off fire works, charges are outrageous $50 per night then charge you 50cents to shower but you can't take a shower after you put your money in because the water is hotter than hell and pure hell. They put us in a sight with electric hook ups for tents but couldn't use cause it is done with 30 amp plugs instead of a regular plug. Bathrooms run down. Sorry place to stay would NOT recommend to any one!!!!
