For Rustic Meadows RV Park: Clean, but basically a gravel parking lot. Never met an employee but I did speak to one on the phone and she was very polite and helpful. Probably 1/4 - 1/3 permanent campers. Good place if you don’t have kids with you to stay if visiting the Springfield area as we were. Bathrooms, and other amenities are across the road. It would have been a hike for us, but it depends on your site.

For Rustic Meadows RV Park: We found this place through Passport America. No one mentioned how close it is to the Highway which is busy and noisy. Our site was not very level but was manageable. The office was closed when we arrived, but making the reservation and instructions given to find site were clear and easy. Did not explore, just here to sleep PA rate made this acceptable but just know there is a lot of Highway noise.

Rich Cannon

For Rustic Meadows RV Park: Second year staying here to visit family for the month of October, I think it’s the nicest park in the Springfield area for easy access, has a big indoor recreation “barn”/office with ping pong, video projection screen, large selection of DVD’s which can viewed there or checked out, large indoor play area for kids, crouches and board games, nice big laundry area with 6 washers and dryers, all of which work well. The park has a lot of long term residents however the management keeps the park clean and the residents are quiet and friendly. The pool closes beginning of October, just discovered they require a heated water supply hose after November 1st, they do carry them at the office. The park is located just off I-44 in a country setting, easy access to drive to Springfield, Branson, stores etc. we liked the park for extended stay. Traveling in a 36’DP towing a car, roomy sites.

For Rustic Meadows RV Park: I called the campground and was met by a friendly person who explained how to get into our campsite for the night. Because of COVID they would be available by phone in case we needed something. Initially our GPS took us way past the campground but we found out way back. We had a good stay and would recommend this campground.

Pat

For Rustic Meadows RV Park: We were looking for a one night stop-over and this park fit the right location and time. It linked in from a Passport America link but when I called the number via the PA app, the woman told me this is NOT a PA campground but the one they’re building across the road (“hopefully” opening in May) will honor the PA discount. This park was mostly filled with long-term folks. Our site was quite unlevel front to back. No cable, WiFi decent as campground internet goes. This would be a good PA park, it really isn’t worth the full $35 nightly fee. About one block off I-44 so some road noise.
