For Bear Canyon Campground: Loved this campground, yes it was a little pricey. The location was perfect—we never heard a train and we were here 7 nights. Beautiful setting with trees separating each pull through site. Sites were long enough that we were able to get level with our 40 foot motorhome. We even could fit our midsize truck in the site. The office was accommodating. Nice pool. We didn’t use the restrooms or laundry facilities.

For Bear Canyon Campground: Don’t stay here the trains run every hour and you won’t get any sleep . It’s way overpriced , it’s not a premium campground but was priced that way ($96/night)

For Bear Canyon Campground: This campground is located near I-90 east of Bozeman. Pretty, atop a hill. However, it is extremely close to a railroad crossing that is active day and night - very loud. Check in was interesting, the door to the office was tricky at best and the clerk was not helpful. Going to our site, we noticed several were VERY CLOSE together. Ours, #30 was tight as well. The picnic table was just a few feet from our neighbors slide out. We got level, but an extreme step to get in/ out of our rig- 28 feet. Gravel site. This was by far the most we have ever spent - $64 and $81 on weekends. One of the 4 washers was out of order . When we stopped to get quarters, the office was closed during the time posted they were to be open. This happened twice during our stay. There is a pool and it looks like it was being kept up. The crowning blow was this morning when we used the bathroom near the office. Filthy. It was evident it had not been touched for days. There was dog poop on the road that we watched the maintenance girl drive by on her golf cart. There isn’t much of a selection in Bozeman, but they are making a killing with the prices. There are about 70 sites total for RV’s and about 15 tent sites that has a common area for them. We would try the other campground since it is half the price…

For Bear Canyon Campground: The Good: Easy, polite check-in. Located on a hill so there are nice views from some spots. Good sized, but unfenced dog park. The pool looked nice but we didn’t use it. The not so good: The showers were dirty. The parking spots were tight so a lot of picnic tables were on top of the neighbors’ sewer hoses. Train whistles can be heard throughout the day and night. Some highway noise outside due to location just above it. At $170.56 for two nights you might expect more but this is Bozeman where property is currently going for extremely high prices.

For Bear Canyon Campground: Campground was just ok. Gravel roads and sites. Took me some maneuvering to get my side to side somewhat level on my site. My site was very tight, our table was right next to neighbor sewer drain. Railroad near by with train noise. I didn’t check out the showers or other facilities. They did have a pool and wifi. No cable. Was a bit expensive without that. Got about 12 channels off my antenna. They seem to have a lot if rules. Watch out fir the underpass coming off the west interstate. Only 13’ 3” clearance. I had to go down a couple exits and double back to get iff going east bound. We stayed one night in 40’ 5th wheel. Thanks l

For Bear Canyon Campground: Easy on and off the interstate with a nice view of the area. Verizon LTE 3 bars. Park WiFi was strong but a little due to usage probably. Clean shower house and laundry room. Crushed gravel roads and sites. Only thing really missing is cable television. Id gladly stay here again.

For Bear Canyon Campground: This is a beautiful campground. The views of the farm valley and surrounding hills are lovely. The bathrooms are clean and warm, the office is well stocked and the staff are friendly. Don't listen to your GPS if it tells you to make a U-turn!

We would stay here again for sure.
