For Black Sandy State Park: Beautiful sites right on the lake. Site 11 is the best with shade and some extra space on one side. The sites are incredibly close together. Each site has a picnic table and space on the lake. There are three campgrounds here, White Sandy, which is a national forest campground. White Sandy has much bigger sites but no shade or hook ups. Gray Sandy has hook ups and shade but it’s not on the water. And Black Sandy, a Montana state park.

For Black Sandy State Park: Beautiful, lakeside campground. Reservation based. Gravel sites with electric, some tents sites near the water. boat parking, large day use area, large bathroom-only thing that would make it better would be showers in that large bathroom! Fire rings, tables and you can rent a slip space for your boat. We will be back for sure-
