For Turkey Creek Campground: Our Sprinter Roadtrek is 21’ long and could easily navigate this relatively small beautiful shady park. I chatted with the host a bit about local flora and fauna; a very gracious couple. I’d return to this park in a heartbeat. We really enjoyed our stay and our walks in the woods.

For Turkey Creek Campground: This quiet, tastefully appointed, pet friendly campground is well maintained. It is shady and set along a babbling creek. The tile restrooms and showers are large, spotless, and warm. There is a wonderful gathering place on a raised deck with comfortable rocking chairs which overlooks the campground. Under the deck is an activity room with a pool table and foos ball. There is a laundry facility on site. Sites cannot accommodate large rigs or trailers (ours was one of the largest at 21 feet), but sites are level and grassy. There is a well stocked, affordable woodshed on site and coffee and home baked goods are available for purchase on weekends. The couple that owns the place live on site and are lovely and pleasant, without being intrusive. Proximity is close to a number of attractions in the area including Nantahala river excursions, Bryson City, and Cherokee. We stayed for a week and we will definitely be back.

For Turkey Creek Campground: What a hidden gem ! This dog friendly campground has a babbling creek through it and is so peaceful !! It's very close to Lake Fontana, NOC , rafting and 8 miles outside of Bryson City . The all tiled bathroom and showers are warm and clean . Each site has a picnic table and fire ring , with water and electric hookup . There is a dump station by the office .We and our 3 dogs felt right at home and the campground owners are so friendly and easy to work with ! We would come back again and highly recommend to anyone

For Turkey Creek Campground: Best campground in the area. I have stayed there for at least a week for the past 4 years. Great location near the Nantahala Gorge/River, Bryson City, and Great Smokey Mountain National Park. I am not usually a fan of private campgrounds, but you won't find a better one. The owners are great folks and really care that you have a good stay with them. There is ice and firewood available to purchase on site. The BEST bathroom facilities and there is also a dish washing station and laundry. Not a place for a huge RV, but great for those of us who camp in teardrops, pop ups, tents and small TT. The creek running through the campground makes it very peaceful at night.
