For Smoky Mountain Meadows: This campground was extremely hard to get to with a 40ft rv. We had to drive through the smoky mountains on very dangerous winding roads. The site we picked was supposed to be pull through. Due to the hookup placement and trees, we were not able to pull through without damaging the rv. The site was very unleveled. Tree branches hang low and sites are tight. We could not extend the awnings without potentially damaging the neighboring rv. Fireplace was a few rocks in a circle. For the price it was extremely dissatisfying. We picked this location to be closer to the smoky mountains. However, the campground is 2 hours away from Gatlinburg and 1 hour to the smoky mountain entrance. We recommend staying closer to Gatlinburg if visiting the Smoky mountains.

Family guy

For Smoky Mountain Meadows: Great family friendly camp ground. Live bad and full camp ground on Labor Day and Memorial Day. Plenty of room for all. They had a live band and Wiffleball game too. Friendly great staff! Clean hot showers even with the crowd! Road is tight but manageable with a 42' toy hauler.

Dave

For Smoky Mountain Meadows: Nice campground along small creek. Low key, very quiet campground. We ended up just hanging at CG instead of exploring because it was a nice destination itself. We hit mid week in August and it was about half full. I could see if full it becomes giant parking lot but then again gravel roads with lots of grass give it a more rural pastoral setting. Owner allowed us to run dogs in nearby unused field. Bathrooms and CG clean. Only minus was we had E/W only site (our choice - allowed us to be along creek) but found out later no dump station. Had to find empty full service site on way out to dump. Fortunately there were several empty sites. Would go back again, especially mid week.

Dad dip

For Smoky Mountain Meadows: Small, quiet campground in beautiful location. Road in is a bit sketchy but I managed with a 30 ft fifth wheel. Showers and bathrooms very clean. Wifi is not bad (better than many other campgrounds).
